Western Civ questions week 1

QUESTION 1- Was it a good idea for Justin Martyr to have public debates about Christianity out in the open when it was illegal? 

Yes, I personally think that preaching Jesus' name regardless of what the rules are is so important. It was all illegal back then but I heavily respect people who did that no matter what the circumstances were.  

QUESTION 2- Should we focus all of our effort on God?

Yes, God is our creator and the one who wakes us up in the morning, gives us life. God gives us everything we need whether we realize it or not. God has done everything for us and he always will. God is the one above us so we should glorify him for all he has done.
